Users may request deletion of their personal data and account from DIYer.
Deletion of an account does not necessarily mean every project, post, comment, or interaction will be removed from the Service if that information can be retained in anonymized form.
When a deletion request is approved:
We may retain certain posts, projects, comments, likes, saves, shares, and similar activity in anonymized or de-identified form to preserve community conversations, content integrity, safety records, legal compliance, and operation of the Service.
Where retained, identifying account information may be removed and the content or activity may instead be displayed under a generic label such as "Deleted User".
Some information may also remain if required by law or for security purposes.
